I had the opportunity to work with Casey to design my living and dining space in a new Manhattan apartment in early summer 2020. Casey was exceptional from the beginning to the end of the process.
I am an interior design neophyte and went into the process unsure what to expect and a little anxious. She was able to quickly get a sense of my style and color preferences (when I couldn’t articulate them clearly!) through pictures and a Pinterest board. She very rapidly provided terrific ideas from a range of vendors that I could never have found or come up with on my own. I absolutely love the resulting design and fit right into the budget I provided.
In addition to her talent and design expertise, Casey was exceptionally responsive to my questions and suggestions, and also countered with thoughtful, expert advice if I had idea that wasn’t in sync with the space. She went above and beyond every step of the way.

You will be SO glad that you went with Decorist as an option for an online decorator. I have never officially worked with a designer before and was so nervous to try it, especially that it was an online one. I have tried other cheaper online design apps before just for advice and wasn’t super happy. But I knew going into it that Decorist has a happiness guarantee so that made me feel better. I was matched it Casey from HCC designs and she was sooooo communicative and sweet, she didn’t bat an eye at all of my questions or concerns and put my mind at ease. Her style is 100% what I’m looking for and it blew me away that the match was so perfect. Her initial concept came just a couple days after I filled out the questionnaire and it was AMAZING. seriously I don’t know how she does it, but she’s a mind reader. I made a few tweaks for the final design and couldn’t be happier with the outcome. LOVE IT. She used our existing couch and even added a space for my computer which was not an easy feat. After just the initial concept I knew I had to hire her for my bedrooms which she’s working on now and I can’t wait to see the results! 😍
Casey with HCC design is just wonderful. I originally was assigned to a different designer but realized quickly she was not a great match. I reached out and requested Casey instead. She is amazing! After review the first concept I knew it was exactly what I wanted. She is also very prompt with any of my questions and tried to accommodate with my requests. You will not be disappointed with Casey if you like the transitional style with a bit of glam!
