Fat Fast: Day 4

5lb down as of this morning!!! Whoo-hoo! I am so excited and shocked at how well this fat fast is working. While it is not a sustainable diet due to the lack of protein, I do believe it is a viable option to reset after a cheat day or to jump-start weight loss for people who have experience low-carb dieting.  If you have never restricted carbohydrates before, I would start with cutting down to 20-50 carbs per day before you try the fat fast!  You will more than likely lose weight quickly just by cutting the carbs.  🙂

Here is my daily intake today:

7:30am- Fat-fast friendly coffee, with 1 t grassfed butter (Kerrygold), 1T extra virgin coconut oil, 2 packets of Truvia, and a splash of vanilla.  I also added 1T of heavy whipping cream, and it really upped the creaminess factor!  A quick blend in my Ninja, and my frothy, high-fat coffee is ready to go!

10:20am- White cheddar cheese stick

11:00am- My snack for today is 2T of honey walnut cream cheese and a 1/2 scoop of chia seeds (You can buy the brand that I use and love here!).

11:50am- (13) jalapeno pepperonis; (1) white cheddar cheese stick

4:00pm- (2) regular extra sharp cheddar cheese sticks

7:30pm- (2) regular extra sharp cheddar cheese sticks; (14) regular pepperonis

8:30pm- 16T sugar-free whipped cream

Total Calories:  1,217

Total Net Carbs: 6g

Percentage of Calories from Fat: 83%
